تسبب فيروس كورونا المستجد(كوفيد-19) بوفاة 475 شخصا في إيطاليا خلال الساعات الأربع وعشرين الأخيرة في أسوأ حصيلة تسجل في بلد واحد خلال يوم كما أعلن الأربعاء الدفاع المدني.

ووصل عدد الوفيات في إيطاليا حتى الآن إلى ثلاثة آلاف جراء هذا الوباء في حصيلة تقارب تلك التي سجلت في الصين (أكثر من 3200 وفاة) حيث ظهر كوفيد-19.

وسجلت أجهزة الصحة الإيطالية 4207 إصابات جديدة في الساعات الـ24 الأخيرة وهو رقم لم يسجل من قبل.

ومرة أخرى كانت مقاطعة لومبارديا الأكثر تضررا مع تسجيل ثلث الوفيات فيها.

وارتفع عدد الإصابات الجديدة أيضا في مقاطعات أخرى كفينيتو وبيمونتي مع تسجيل 500 حالة إضافية في كل مقاطعة أو توسكانا مع 300 حالة إضافية.

وآخر أرقام قياسية خلال يوم تعود إلى الأحد مع 368 وفاة في يوم واحد وهو ما لم تشهده الصين أبدا بحسب الأرقام الرسمية.
