أقام المغاربة اليوم صلاة الاستسقاء، طالبين من الله عز وجل الغيث النافع، وراجين منه سبحانه الرحمة وأن يبعد عنهم الجفاف والقحط.

وقد خرجت الجموع في كل ربوع المغرب إلى المصليات والمساجد الكبرى، يتقدمهم الصغار وهم يحملون ألواح حفظ القرآن، والأئمة والخطباء، وأدوا صلاة الاستسقاء كما تؤدى صلاة العيد، ثم خطب فيهم الخطباء، ورفعوا أكف الضراعة والافتقار إلى رحمة العلي الغفار.
