وقالت هيئة الإذاعة والتلفزيون اليابانية إن العاصفة ضربت مساحة كبيرة من وسط وشرق اليابان مما أدى إلى فقد 15 وإصابة قرابة 211 آخرين، بعد نحو 3 أيام من ضرب الإعصار “غاجيبيس” اليابان برياح عاتية وأمطار غزيرة.

وقُطعت المياه عن قرابة 138 ألف منزل في حين انقطعت الكهرباء عن 24 ألف منزل، فيما يقدر عدد الأشخاص الذين يعيشون دون كهرباء بعد الإعصار بمئات الآلاف، لكن ما يثير القلق هي المناطق الشمالية حيث بدأ الطقس يتحول إلى البرودة.

ويواصل الآلاف من رجال الشرطة والإطفاء والجيش، البحث عن المفقودين، لكن آمال العثور على ناجين تتضاءل.
