نطلقت في الولايات المتحدة، مساء الخميس، مبيعات “الجمعة السوداء” التي ينتظرها الأمريكيون بفارغ الصبر بسبب تخفيضات كبرى تطرأ على المنتجات تصل 90% من قيمتها في جميع أنحاء البلاد.

و”الجمعة السوداء، هو اليوم الذي يأتي مباشرة بعد “عيد الشكر” في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ويتزامن مع نهاية نوفمبر من كل عام، حيث يُعتبر بداية موسم شراء هدايا عيد الميلاد.

وتقدم المحلات التجارية وتجار التجزئة والوكالات، في هذا اليوم، تخفيضات كبرى على منتجاتها تصل 90% من قيمتها في جميع الولايات، لتعود بعد ذلك إلى سعرها الطبيعي بعد انقضاء المناسبة.

ويتوقّع الاتحاد الوطني لبيع التجزئة، أن يتسوّق 115 مليون شخص خلال “يوم الجمعة”.

وتعود تسمية “الجمعة السوداء” إلى الأزمة المالية التي حدثت عام 1869، والتي شكلت ضربة كبرى للاقتصاد الأمريكي، حيث كسدت البضائع، ما سبب كارثة اقتصادية في أمريكا. وتعافت البلاد من الكارثة الاقتصادية عن طريق إجراء تخفيضات كبرى على السلع والمنتوجات لبيعها بدل كسادها.
