تزامنًا مع حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك والذي يصادف اليوم الجمعة، أعلنت بعض الدول العربية والإسلامية مجموعة من الإجراءات الاحترازية المتعلقة بصلاة العيد منها سلطنة عُمان حيث منعت صلاة عيد الأضحى في المساجد وحظر تجمعات المعايدة والاحتفالات الجماعية بالعيد، وذلك تجنبًا لتفشي فيروس كورونا المستجد.
